Because I'm really paranoid about cutting into my 12/m ($24/m) fabric without checking my (self drafted) pattern works! I grossly overestimated how much bias-binding I'd need to make, and have about 10 meters of the damned stuff left over, so at least I'll know not to repeat that mistake...



The sweetheart neckline isn't really wonky, but my dress form Vicky and I are having some issues. I suspect I have a case of the terrible twos on my hands...

The other fabric is a heavy red matte silk, it's gorgeous, but as I said, pricey.

I like this - it's a lovely shape.  The fabric is really fun too, it'll be lovely for the summer.  (I guess by the fact you used that you're in the UK, which means summer is probably already over before it started, though  Angry)  Can't wait to see the finished dress in the 'proper' fabric, I'm sure it will be gorgeous.
