I sell my clothes in a local boutique and want to make a mannequin stuffed doll to display some clothes on. Any ideas or know of any patterns? I need them to be 3 to 4 feet tall for a 4/5 year old. Thanks!

Hollie Hobbie doll pattern has very natural proportions, blow it up with a copier or (if available) a opaque projector to get a pattern the size you need.

You will need to put something rigid inside (backbone & shoulders at least, maybe hips too) as well as stuffing to get it to model well, Plastic pipe would probably be good, rigid but not too heavy & you can buy all the pieces & connectors you need in one stop at the hardware store- less than $10 worth of pipe & fittings Smiley

I'll see if I can find the holly hobbie pattern. I found this one online:

I know it's only 31 inches tall but I'm probably just gonna put dresses on her. Tell me what you guys think? I wish she was a foot taller but she looks fairly simple to make.
