Flying Homer!

My husband is crazy about flying his remote control planes so when he asked me to crochet him a pilot for his new plane I was was super nervous because my husband occasionally has a bit too much faith in my crafting abilities.  After about 2 Sundays and 2 seasons of Stargate Atlantis on DVD (I know...we're geeks) Homer the pilot was finished and my husband was very happy with the result.  I couldn't use a pattern because he had to be a very specific size to fit in the cockpit properly but I also was too lazy to write down what I did which I'm smacking myself in the head for now  ...oh well.

That's excellent, I love it! He looks just perfect in the plane. And in the shot before getting into the cockpit, he looks kind of like he's reaching out for something... maybe a donut?
