well..I got this idea from shade72, i think that's her name. anyway, my friend's birthday is tomorrow and i made this fo her in about an hour, it could have been less if i wasn't "studying" for my midterms. Anyway, it's not exactly the same thing but quite similar, here are some pictures..

i took this picture at a very akward angle, try taking a picture of your own arm/hand

Hmm..i guess the night is still young and there's more time to be wasted instead of studying, so I'll post a tutorial.

Materials:
glass beads - found in the floral department of ragshop
black string
little circular pictures - found in any magazine
hot glue gun
glue

allrighty, so i began with a magazine, looking for interesting patterns in the pages, surprisingly, i found a lot of these in the swim suit portion of this magazine and i felt very akward when i was cutting it out.  Embarrassed

after i found some pictures i cut them out and glued them onto the back of the glass bead, regular glue will do. I made five of these to fit around my wrist.

Next, I took the string and folded it in half. I tied a knot at the end, so that there's a loop, and measured the length of my wrist. I used the hot glue gun to glue the beads onto the string and then i tied a knot at the end.

sorry, the pictures are too big and too blurry..bad camera..

to close the bracelet you would slip the big knot at the end into the loop and tada! that's all there is to it.

enjoy!

man, it takes a silly girl to lie about the dreams she's had
but it takes a lonely one,
to wish that she had never dreampt at all..

Sturdy enough?  Or do you have to be extra nice to them?  Very cute.

hmm what i am half thinking instead of just a little peice of hemp is start to knot a bracelet and how you would put some beads on just glue the marble on there, and then keep knotting. how the hemp would go on the side of the bead, you could glue with like crazy glue the hemp to the side of the marble... oh god now I have to try this or it will bug me to no end.
