so here's a purple top i made recently.. i dont know.. im not really good at sewing tops or dresses or any garments.. it always turns out a bit sloppy..but i just wanna share this with all of you.. might have ideas or comments that'll make it better..

before i add the sleeves.

actually, i want to add puffy sleeves.. but i got headache while doing it. LOLs. so i just cancelled the puffy sleeves.. n just made the ordinary-normal-typical sleeves.. *sigh*..

it looks like the sleeves are not really well done.. so i thought pairing the top with a bolero would b nice..

hehe. thanx for looking.  Grin
comments n critics are welcome, as always.  Wink

That's adorable! Great job. I think the sleeves look pretty good, but the bolero really sets if off, so you're good both ways! Did you use a pattern?

Aw, it's lovely! The colour is wonderful - one of my favourites at the moment. I like it with and without the bolero. I wouldn't say it is sloppy at all!

looks great, love the style and the colour.  i don't think the sleeves look sloppy but i liked it better without them, puffy sleeves would have looked awesome but they are a pain in the ass to do!  Smiley

I honestly liked it better before sleeves, but that's just me...

Also, is that bolero a fuzzy knit? did it have a little ribbon that used to go under the bust? and a little fuzzy yarn covered button? Because if it is, then I have that exact one in a really pale blue color, and I adore it, and I'm jealous that you have it in pink Cheesy

hey, nice job!  i think it looks super cute with the bolero and that you did a nice job on the sleeves.  i agree with some of the others: i thought it was nice sleeveless, because that way you have the bolero for cooler days, but it can be sleeveless when it's nice and sunny out.  just seems really versatile that way!
