I'm kinda new here and I do a lot of different things! This is something I made recently to hold my cell phone. I also made the bead that is dangling off it.  Grin

Beautiful work - what was the technique that you used for this?

Thank you! I used a faux chenille technique and then just sewing up and down, folding the fabs up and down as I sew. Does that make sense?

Thank you! I don't have a tut for this, just kinda played it by ear! I made a sqaure panel, about 10x10, made with the faux chenille and then I used another peice for the inside. I wanted to make sure I had plenty to use. I sewed those right sides together, left a hole so that I could turn inside out. I then folded it in half, right sides facing each other and measured the fit for my phone (krazr) and then sewed up the seams, turned it inside out and added the strap. I tried to put a rivet in but I can't find rivets thick enough to work though the thickness of the fabric so for now it's just a hole. Hope this makes sense!
