My mother is obsessed with Kermit so  i figured for the women who has everything, i would make her something she doesnt have. I did this whole thing in one day ( the saturday before mother day lol). Im pretty happy with the way it came out i probably wouldnt do so much color in the backgound next time but it was for her and she likes lots of color so i worked out fine.

It still needs to be grounted but i havent decided what color to do yet i thinking gray.

She thinks she wants to turn it in to a table its fairly large my brother is holding it for reference any ideas?

Fabulous.  I've always had a weakness for Kermit.

For what it's worth I think the colours look fine, though they may all calm down a little more to your liking when you get your grouting in, especially if it's a light grey.  You could always experiment on a test tile or something.

The table idea's a good one too, I'd certainly have my tea off it. Cheesy

You did an amazing job!

I would for sure make a table or frame it once it is grouted. Your idea of using gray for the grout color is the same thing I would do.

Good luck grouting, and please post your updates. Smiley

You said that your Mom likes color so I'd grout it in white which would make all the colors on it *pop* real well.

You did a great job!  I know she loves it.  It would be a great table top, too. Cheesy

i thought it was awesome in there first photo, where i assumed it was, like, trivet-sized
(btw, a kermit trivet would be very cool...)
but then - in the photo with your brother that shows how giant the mosaic is
well it's just absolutely amazing
it would make a great table
and i'd also love to see it when it gets grouted
(and turns into whatever it's going to be)
