To show my appreciation for my finacee I made him a present.  I got some pint glasses and I did some etchings into them of his favourite train so he could combine his two favourite hobbies, drinking and trains. 

 I' never done glass etching before but it was an idea i'd been toying with for a while.  i used a diamond tipped pen and then used a pummice tipped pen to buff it up (least i think thats what was on the tip of the second pen) anyway heres the results, the pictures didnt come out too well cause photographing glass is pretty tricky

well i bought mine at the local craft store, it was a glass etching kit and it came with everything i needed. it is a little tricky to begin with to use but its pretty easy to pick up
