i love this clutch so much - its so pro - so i tried to make one...
well it was today's adventure

thats the front - the outside was this little hankie/bit of fabric i found at an antique shop on the side of the road - i think the fabric is what makes me not hate it as much...

thats the back... you cant see the dodgy hand sewing that much can you?Huh.... Undecided

thats the inside... the lining was an old halter top i never wore.. i kind of regret using interfacing.. it made it really bulky and i had to sew bits by hand... my hand sucks...

woo.. here comes the dodgy buttonhole! - the shirt/lining/fabric stuff i used was like stretchy and my machine kept getting caught in it when doing the button hole... so i had to do that by hand too! ouchy... hence the dodgy appearance.... i've given up on it for now - i'll fix it later

thanks so much for the tute! you gave me something to do today!!
i am happy with it, considering my dodgy handsewing at the end... ill reinforce alot of it later when i can be bothered...

your clutch is the best - so pro - love it! Grin

here's my version.  I used an old pair of jeans and some plain old wal mart fabric.  The jean holds up well!  It was a little bit of a pain to hand stitch, but i managed to pull it off in one night.  no prob!  I downsized the pattern a tad and added a pocket to the inside, as well.

thanks so much OP for this ridiculously AWESOME tut!!!!  oh mamma!
