thanks for this tutorial!  I just started sewing and this is the most advanced project I've tried (it's my fourth project to date).  It didn't come out perfect, but I'm happy with it.  I haven't attached the button yet, b/c I don't know how to make button holes.  I am practicing so I can make a silk clutch for each of my bridesmaids for my September wedding.

Here are the results:  (I can't post the photo b/c this is my first post)...

It looks so professional and I would buy that if I saw it somewhere. (and had money, you know what I mean)
I love the pleats especially, so cute and classy.

I'm new here, I don't know where my old posting went...  but I tried again, and used the correct dimensions, and an irridescent fabric -- much better results than my first (smaller) attempt.  I added a zipper.  Thank you!

I love everything about this clutch. I am also obsessed with clutches and can't wait to start on this one. I love the pleats and the vintage button was a great touch.
Thank you!!

Woohoo, thank God I found this tutorial, because I desperately needed a clutch for my grad dinner and made this at the 11th hour:

I made the bottom round instead of pointy, and attached a bracelet thing so I won't accidentally drop the bag every 5 seconds. *butterfingers* ^^;
