That skirt came out awesome! A much better job then I would have done!    Smiley

The skirt is very cute.  I have been looking at your posts and noticed that you have made a bunch of your clothes.  Rocks to you!  I have been tempted to try to make my own skirts and blouses but haven't mustered up the courage.  I am close though.   The fabric is what really intimidates me.  It's hard for me to know what type of fabric is good for different types of clothing.  I also saw that you made your own mannequin.  That is a cool idea and might try to make my own.

sewfixated - I sew with patterns and on the back of the envelope it tells what types of fabrics to use for that garment. That is a great start learning what types of fabrics for what types of clothing. Also the mannequin is fairly easy and very cheap. I still haven't gotten used to using it yet, but soon enough.

I was dancing around in my room - like a complete retard.
I often get this crazy dancing fits.
If youve ever watched the opening minutes of Ghost World... thats me.
And I was listening to this awesome song called DotA by Basshunter [its a techno song based off of something from World of Warcraft or something related to it. http://youtube.com/watch?v=qXKd7uuehlw]

ANYWAY... Im dancing like an idiot and the doorbell rings..
now.. I KNOW that the mailman is coming around at this time of the morning and I KNOW that the only reason he would ring the bell is if he had a package SO I ran like the wind to the door! and sure enough I was right.

I could barely sign for the package I was so excited. I ran back into the house hopping and skipping like mad yelling "its here! its here! yahoo!" to no one in particular. I grabbed my x-acto knife parked myself on our living room floor and proceeded.

all my goodies splayed out in all their wrapped glory...

Kreestar made me a HUGE and AWESOME tote bag for the beach
and ohehmgee! its freaking BECK! Sweeeeeeet.

Sherlock Holmes Bear modified flashdrive.. oh my god how cute
his tag said "tear off his head to reveal a special surprise" and I was like "oh my God I dont want to pop his head off!"

Beatles tee with extra long sleeve that I love!!

knitted swimmers cap a la 1920.. what a doll I swear!

And finally me in all my cheesey glory!

I love love love it all!
thank so much Kreestar!
you were such an awesome partner!

OH my god! BECK?? I'm completely and utterly in love with him. That bag completely rocks.

Sherlock Holmes Bear is freaking adorable too. I would be scared to pop his head off too.

I love the vintage style bathing cap. I saw that pattern on Knitty awhile back and have been wanting to try it out.

Guess who had a little ticket shoved into her door saying her package was at the post office!! Grin I'm SO excited!

My partner's package hasn't made it to Aussie yet, so I'll wait for her to receive to open mine. It'll take a lot of willpower!

To tide her over, I made a teaser pic..
