I'm so glad you liked it, Aroma!

diablita: There are flocks of sparrows on the fabric. My family members have tattoos of them, and since I couldn't find any actual tattoo fabric for her, I had to improvise. LOL

lindy: I loved that fabric! I love all novelty fabric, but this one especially because of the silly fortunes on it. Ex: A bird in the hand is worth $4.85, or, You will meet a tall, dark, handsome stranger who will mistake you for a valet....

I love the crayon discs, I tried to make them with my kids but ours didn't turn out so well!  Maybe we will have to try again...

If you try them again, my only advice is to melt them in a tin and then put the tin in the fridge/freezer after the crayons melt.... they are easier to pop out that way

I think it had something to do with the colors we chose?  Your's didn't just mix all together like ours did.  They turned out to be black/brown in color.  I tried to put in light colors and complementary colors but it just didn't work.  Maybe we will try it again this weekend.

craftster won't let me search anything right now due to high server stress, whatevs. so here are a few online tutes I found when I googled melted crayons.

http://crafts.kaboose.com/cookie-cutter-crayons.html

http://www.perpetualpreschool.com/crayons.html

http://www.ci.tacoma.wa.us/envirokids/Projects/crazycrayons.htm

here is a good one (has nothing to do with actual crayons)
Bath and Tub crayons
http://www.momsnetwork.com/boards/crafts-kids/20302-bath-tub-crayons-recipe.html

and a link for what to do with left over crayon bits and pieces with tons of ideas:

enjoy!

Destined To Fail & SewFixated: The frame was just a plain silver one and I mixed glue with water and had some fun with tissue paper. Smiley

-->Marshmallow Fluff is to make sandwiches with, it pairs so deliciously well with peanut butter. Smiley
