mommycrochets, I like the pink and brown color combo.

Here are a couple baby blankets I just finished for a friend who is due any day.

I made the 12 point star first out of scraps. I was hoping it would be suitable for a boy or girl, but once it was finished I thought it was too girly, so I made another one in case the baby is a boy.

I like your blankets. I am not working on any baby blankets at the moment.
I just finished a star for a co worker and I am working on a round ripple for my mom's DH's Christmas Present.

ZellaBella, I didn't use a pattern. I found a stitch somewhere and just did the stitch until the blanket was a good size. Then I did a row of double crochet around the edge (to weave the ribbon thru) and the added a scalloped edge.

I will try to find the stitch if you want, but any stitch that you like will do.

My "ribbon" is a crocheted chain.

hey all i've been a busy beaver or maybe i've just been really stressed lol i'm working on a starghan for my son but i ran out of the multi so it's on hold heres what it looks like

and before i added the blue just to give you an idea of how big it is

and i just finished a blanket for my daughter! i was mostly using the yarn i have which ended up being red heart brown and vannas choice pink and dusty rose. i dont understand how people like pink and brown together but whatever it's cute!

i might add it took me less then then a day to do this blanket it's pattern is based off http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/70274AD.html but i did dc instead of sc also... i think i read the pattern wrong lol i like it over all even if it is brown
