I made this bag to carry snacks and essentials when we're out and about this summer. Interior pockets will hold a water bottle, cell phone and keys. I challenged myself to use only materials that I had on hand in my stash.  I modified a messenger bag tut and used heavy interfacing. I've been so inspired with all of the wonderful crafters here...thank you for helping bring the joy of creating back into my life.

This is lovely and you must have a lovely fabric stash because these two are gorgeous - well done  Grin.

Just out of curiosity, what are the dimensions - it looks cubed shaped to me.

This is great, maybe next time you should do one that is insulated with Insul Bright (here is a link for more info: http://www.warmcompany.com/ibpage.html)

Insul~Bright consists of hollow, polyester fibers needlepunched through a nonwoven substrate and through a reflective mylar. The needled material is breathable and wont break down with washing. The hollow fibers resist conduction while the reflective mylar resists radiant energy. The energy, hot or cold, is reflected back to its source. Needlepunched Insulated Lining
Reflects Heat or Cold Back to the Source

No Pre-wash Necessary
Machine Wash and Dry
Made in the U.S.A.
*At least one layer of cotton batting is recommended with Insul~Bright when used as Oven Mitts or Pot Holders. Insul~Bright is heat-RESISTANT, NOT heat-proof.

GOOD FOR
Pot Holders
Iron Cozy
Table Pads
Casserole Cozy
Oven Mitts
Insulated Soft Lunch Carriers
Baby Warmers
Ironing Board Covers
Water Heater
Cover Tea Cozy
Outdoor Stadium Cushions

It is cubed shaped.  10" long 11" wide and 7" deep.  Thanks so much for that link, GiftsandThings, I was actually thinking this bag should be insulated. jloveg, is that a chocolate lab?  My daughter just got a yellow lab, she's 6 weeks old. I'll be starting a puppybag for her today...pink John Deere fabric.
