ali, I saw that purse in the clutch thread Smiley It does match well! Is your dress 2 pieces? it looks like it to me, but the bottom is kinda dark. Anyways, I LOOOVE the top! It's so cute. The green looks so good with your red hair.

So I posted this dress idea a while ago and now I need some input.  I just got the fabric for my dress (the purple version in the drawing, even though the fabric is actually blue).  I was wondering what sort of shape I should do for the skirt tiers.  Circle skirts on top of each other would probably be too bulky, so I was thinking, like graduated trapezoids.  Any suggestions?

You could make something similar to a RaRa skirt (I think that's what they are called). I think there are some tutorials somewhere on here. If not I can try to explain further.

I am amazed at all the talent. All of you have done fantastic jobs!

I didn't go to my prom so I never got to have the great punk rock dress that I wanted. So 12 years later one of the dance clubs I am a regular at is holding their Good Prom/Bad Prom event next month.

This time I am making my dress. I will post photo's as soon as it's done.
