Is anyone interested in getting together maybe twice a month to do crafts?  I am not sure where we could go....my apartment is too tiny but I think getting people together to create with and learn new crafts would be really fun!  Anyone with suggestions, please let me know!

The Seamrippers hold a knitting night every Sunday but you can do other crafts too, in case you are interested!

I'm not a knitter, and most of the crafts I do are not as *small* as knitting, but would totally be up for a craft group.

Maybe people could take turns hosting, where they teach a craft to everyone, provide supplies (or supply lists?)

i live in surrey, but i'm in vancouver a lot, and i would love to be part of a crafting circle. i've heard about seamrippers, and i'm hoping to participate in one of their activities soon, as well.

I would love to be part of a Vancouver craft collective. I was going to start going to the seamrippers stitch and bitch, but when I showed up everything was locked up. I guess it's not going anymore.
I think we should start a group that gets together to do all sorts of crafting. We could also join up to rent tables at craft fairs for selling stuff.
Maybe we could get in touch with seamrippers and use the space some nights.

nice suggestions!
seamrippers is all non profit, so their programming changes monthly. (check out www.seamrippers.ca ) you have to be a member to get space and such from them but its pretty cheap.
i am all for holding a group of crafting. basic and good. not a knitter though- and that seems to be the thing here... hm.
anyone else have ideas?
