I just can't wait to start crafting for the Tiffany's swap...so I made this for myself...or maybe my partner to be.

When I get excited by a project, I've got to get crafting while the creative juice is flowing....and I don't know if I can part with this.

Its resin in a bottlecap with an image, glitter, drilled a hole for hanging...added ribbon, knots, beads, and a silver lobsterclasp/crimps. Voila! Wink

I guess I could make another one.. Wink This was superfun to do!

That is so lovely!  I think I would keep it too.
I really like how you strung it with ribbon and the big black beads set it off so perfectly.

Just go for it...I was intimidated with resin too...but it's really not so bad! I did this right in my kitchen...put down paper to protect the work area...put on thin latex gloves....and got to mixing.
Really the prep time is the longest thing. I always have a bunch of things ready to pour into before even getting out the resin. I have so much fun cropping pictures, playing with my glitter, and cutting out the circles....although I hurt my hand once because I was cutting so long...so now I use a 1" circle punch...found at scrapbooking centers. My hand is saved! The wonderful thing about working with the resin is you have control over how much you make at a time. If you only want to do a couple of pieces...then mix just a couple of ounces up. Wink

For the life of me I can't remember where the shirt came from. I've had it for a couple of years now. I wore it through my second pregnancy....though t folks might be blinded by Audrey's beauty and not notice my growing belly!  Cheesy
