This is from a kit my sister bought me for my B-day back in April. I had to teach my self to knit first before I would attempt to make this. The kit was bought at Target and called "KnitThis" It had plastic needles in it which I could not use (too slippery) so I did this on size 6 bamboo needles. The kit also came with a DVD which was VERY helpful.
Im now working on the bottoms to this. Im kinda' proud that this is my first-almost-complete project and it didnt turn out too bad!
P.S. The yarn it came with is cotton I think because its almost identical to 'sugar-n-cream'

Ooh  Shocked I wanna make one. That is my favorite color! and I love bikinis. Summer's pretty much over for me though, as far as swimming goes.  Undecided

Everybody likes pink. People who think otherwise are in denial.

Im making another pink one but using a different, easier pattern I found online. Im also adding bra-cup inserts / liners  I found at the craft store for a few $$ and adding a cotton insert into the crotch area. Im almost done with it!
Heres the pattern Im using:

Oooh, please post a picture of the completed bikini set when you're done!  I'm making a bikini too and I'm finding the bottoms most frustrating because some bottoms just don't provide much coverage Shocked.  Have fun!
