alright, kiddies, this particular scarf was the most time-consuming project i've ever worked on. mainly because i was lazy. but i also experimented with using more colors. i don't know whether it's intarsia or the atypical way of fairisle. whichever it is, it was a friggin' mess on the backside. & i finally did my first cable on this scarf, too. one qualm i had with the damned thing was that all i used were acrylic yarns & it would curl like crazy, which i expected. though i put a 3-stitch purl border, it still curled - guess it wasn't enough. i backed it with fleece (w/out the interfacing. d'oh!). yep, curlin' like a motha', i ironed the back and it helped a little. okok, enough of the details.

if you're a gamer (or just in the know) you'll recognize:
the black mage, the fighter, the red mage, & the white mage.

first cable! *jigs*

ya gotta model it a bit, like so.

there that is.

THE CHARTS AS REQUESTED:

enjoy!

oh, i forgot to mention that i used size 7 ndls on worsted weight yarn. okay, cheers!

Oh oh I love it. I'd wear it any day. Cheesy Nice work, I've tried to knit before but it's impossible for me to get it right and proper.

I clicked on the title hoping someone had finally made Rikku's scarf properly. But this is 10 times better than that would be! You MUST post your pattern and charts!

My brother nearly had a heart attack when he saw this scarf and now demands that i make him one. Charts would be super sweet! and it would also help to end the onslaught of my little bro's nagging.
Congrats on your first cable it looks awesome!

Atomikpop- this scarf is great! That would make a great gift for my little nephew, I know he would flip if I made him a scarf with your charts.
I just have one question.  What did you do for the underside of the scarf?  Did you do double knit or did you knit it up and then left the back as a back?
You did a great job!
Thanks for posting your charts!

Did you see one that was already made or did you find some pattern for said chocobo somewhere?
