I've always wanted a 50s bathing suit, but they're impossible to find at stores so i decided to make one! it took about a yard of fabric and a couple late nights at the sewing machine, but i am pretty happy with how it turned out. tell me what you think!

this is the front of the swim suit layed  out on a table.it's  hard to tell in the picture, but the straps are twisted and knotted like the details on the bottom

the back is pretty straightforward

and this is me in the bathing suit!

thanks for looking!

Very cute! I like the braided straps. I love 50's clothing, but I took the easy way out and ordered a swimsuit from mybabyjo.com Grin
