Hi
this is my first post on craftster, so i hope i did everything right.. so anyways these are jeans i made out of this cool flowered denim i bought at walmart. Jeans are never long enough for me, so i tried to make mine extra long, but i think they're still a little short and they look kind of hippieish

so tell me what you think..and be brutal!

so this is me in the jeans..they  have little vents on the legs so i can get the on cause the ankles are really skinny and my feet are kind of large

thanks!

& hi laura:]

ohemgee, these pants are so super fly Cheesy

pants are hard to make, and you did a fabulous job.  when i saw the topic i was thinking of these pants that a friend at camp had where she basically sewed a big triangle of psychedelic print into a seam.

i love these.

agreed! did you use a pattern or draft one yourself? i have so many awesome fabrics i've bought to make pants but i'm afraid i'll ruin the fabric haha

haha, so i made the pattern myself from looking at how my favorite pair of jeans were made, and it helped a lot to pin the jeans onto myself before sewing the leg seams. it made the fit much better then it probably would have been!

So,i would say to go for it anyways! just cut the pattern extra big to leave room for mistakes. good luck!
