wow
i looked up the last one
and i don't know that there are 5 things i can do well
(i mean, that are trade-able on craftster, if you get my drift  Wink Grin Cheesy)
do i have to have 5 different ones, or can i make a slightly different purse or something?

well, it was really so that i had a bunch of options with which to pair people up - so at least if there are a couple of things you do well.... and that could be like.. knitted purse.... knitted shawl.... they don't have to be 5 different crafting techniques, since i'm mostly a 2-trick pony, but at least a couple of different types of things, so that i can match people up.

well, that's good then.
i'm going to try to learn knitting and crochet
but i have too much going on to learn now
i'm thinking it will be good for me to start when fall/winter comes around again
but i basically have sewing purses and aprons and blankets
and beading and quilts - well i guess that did turn into 5
but am hoping to add to my repertoire

It.is.too.hot.to.craft. and no, I'm not having hotflashes. It was 91 degrees in our house yesterday - with the windows open and the ceiling fan going. But I'd be up to it in about a month when things cool off.

That's interesting. It doesn't usually cool off here till the beginning of September.  July and August are both equally hot and humid.

just so you all know, I haven't forgotten about you, and this swap - things at my old job got weird (new manager that i really couldn't work for), so i ended up getting a new job - just finished my first week.

so i'd still like to do another round, just need to get my life (and my budget) back in order before i can do it, ok?
