oh they only painted some of them to look like the powerpuff girls.  i don't even know that show very well, but i think she did a good job of totally changing the look.  and i love loud colors.
and i wonder if she made the other (mod) dresses?  some of her kurhns are meant to be a rock band, i think.  the ones that aren't powerpuffs.
i think she added color to the eyes of many of them, eyeshadow, eyebrow shape?
i don't remember if the italian part said anything important (i can read italian, but i am lazy to write it, cos i can't spell), i mainly "read the pictures".  her other site about modded barbies is interesting but a LOT of words in italian and too much flash.  pretty, though.

I was trying to figure out if she straightened the hair or not. Because I think the green haired one normally has really crazy hair.
If it's Italian I know absolutely nothing of the language! lol. I thought it was spanish for some reason. That's what I get for checking craftster before breakfast!

they are an awful lot alike, especially if you don't really speak it.  if you do, you notice which parts are like spanish and the other bits are mostly like french.  i still "speak" italian by 75% spanish, 10% equivalencies i learned between italian and other languages, and 15% waving my hands a lot.  it works.

as for the hair, i think the cheerleaders came with straight hair.  i have seen a greenhaired other one that is not the same.

she answered me that she did the dresses and the eyes.  i can ask about the hair, although i don't know the word but i could look it up.  i think she at least somewhat speaks english, though (?)

Ah! I don't feel nearly so crazy. I need to take a class to learn the language better. (or re-take my high school class since it's on cd and I can get it easily.)

You don't have to ask her about the hair I was just really out of it this morning and trying to figure things out was not working well for me. lol I"m going to have to re-look at her pictures when I have more brain cells now!

chinasprout has more Kurhns now ~ check out all these great traditional and regional minority outfits!

http://www.chinasprout.com/store/browse/Culture/Toys/Fashion+Dolls

you might have to get different bodies for them, though, obitsu or whatever, cos usually the fancy costume ones are not on articulated bodies.

i really like the "Dong Minority" doll's outfit.

Hi all.

I'm new here and to Kurhn too. I got my 1 girl a week ago and had never seen one before. I was surprised when I got her, she was very nice better than expected for the
price. She is the party girl.

and redressed...Momoko shorts, rest by me.

I really hope we can have some Kurhn talking here  Smiley

I got mine sent for only $4, she was deboxed for that, but I'm a deboxer anyway - with box it would have been $8, its still a very low ship fee from China to Denmark.

hey ... thinking slightly tangentially... if the Kurhns have knees but not elbows... do any of you guys know if you can take just the arms off of a barbie?
and how?
thanks,

hi.
The 10 joint Kurhn has elbows too, or put her head on a model muse body.
