Fabric is taking over my house!

Of all the purses I've made (and that's quite a lot) this is my FAVORITE! I'm using it right now and I'm not giving it up any time soon. I hope you like it as much as I do!

I love the flowers on this fabric. It's a floral pattern but I think it's still pretty contemporary, especially combined with the stripes. The photo makes it look a little grainy and canvasy, but it's just quilting cotton.

Here's a shot of the inside, it's very deep so it's pretty spacious! The pockets were almost an afterthought, so I just used a scrap of fabric and they're really small so my keys always fall out. I can live with it though.

The fabric is from my new favorite quilting shop near my house. They're both from the same collection so it's very matchy matchy. I'm very into that, and it killed me that I couldn't find a lining that matched the blue flowers perfectly. No one has said anything yet! It's basically just a jordy style bottom, and the straps are pretty long so it goes over my shoulder easy. It's the perfect bag for me!

I'd love to hear your comments!  Grin

Love your tote bag.
I make them to sell and put a key holder in each one. If you have a Dollar Tree store near you, they have them for 4/$1.00 . You could even attach one to the pocket.

Thanks everyone! I think this fabric is what really makes this bag so cute. My mom has already commissioned one for herself but with green lining!

Indeed I have a little Burberry zippered pouch, it matches my purse, boots and scarf! I love all things Burberry, much to my boyfriend's dismay.  Embarrassed And I'm not sure what a sync is, but I'm assuming you're referring to my pink Chocolate? It's the old kind, but I still love it cause it's pink!

What a great idea! I do need to go to the Dollar Tree anyways (my favorite of the variety of dollar stores, everything is actually a dollar!). That would be very helpful for me. Thanks for the tip!
