I made this dress for my DD last weekend. It was my 1st attempt at a lettuce edge hem. I don't have a serger. I must admit, I was pretty impressed by it! TG for internet tutorials! Wink The dress is a size 8.

I love that fabric... I used the blue for the lining of a purse.

Can you share the link for the tutorial for the lettuce edge trim without a serger? I'd be interested in learning how to do that since I don't have the money for a serger.  Wink

I couldn't for the life of me find thee exact page with the lettuce edge that I used -- but I found another good one with the help of google.

Be sure to make an itty bitty hem. Sew & stretch. I went around my edge 2 times.
