Daria Bracelet and Pattern

I designed these cute little i-cord bracelets because I wanted something small from the Noro Daria yarn I picked up on a whim.  They're super fast to knit and make nice gifts.  I posted the pattern on my blog but I'll post it here as well:

Daria Bracelet

Materials:

Yarn: 1 skein of Noro Daria Multi (55% cotton-45% rayon / 50 meters). Shown in color #26.

Needles: 2 US size 6 (4.25mm) dpns

Gauge: Not important, just use a needle size that makes fabric that you like.

Notions: Tapestry needle, clasp.

Instructions:

· Cast on 3 stitches, making sure to leave about a 10” tail.

· Work i-cord for desired length. For me, that was about 6 inches.

· Bind off, leaving a 10” tail.

· With your fingers, slide one end of the clasp down the tail from the bind off edge. Thread the yarn through a tapestry needle and weave into the i-cord to secure the end.







· Repeat for the other side of the bracelet using the other piece of the clasp.

· Enjoy!

Wow, that's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! I love the colors in the yarn, they look particularly beautiful with the I-cord. Thanks for the pattern, too-- I've never done it before, but maybe will have to give it a shot!

Thats really cool, I love the colors too.  From just looking at the picture I couldn't tell it was yarn or that it was knitted.  I wish I could knit.  Anyway I really like it.

Gorgeous bracelet, brilliant idea.  I've not seen Noro Daria in this country but I can imagine a similar yarn looking almost as good.

cool! i made some similar ones as mothers' day presents--only i sewed the ends together instead of attatching clasps. also, my yarn was not as awesome as yours.
