So I finally replaced at least one set of curtains that came with our house. I unfortunatly still have some very old lady like curtains in my bedroom. But at least now I have some pretty awesome curtains in my kitchen window.
I had bought some random fabric (or so I thought) in the as is area of Ikea a couple years back. When I finally thought of using it I realized, this isn't fabric! Its placemats! So then I had no idea what to do with them until one day I was staring out the kitchen window while doing dishes. I was thinking how ugly the curtains were that came with the place (sorry no pics, just think 80's blue flower bedspread and that is the curtains that were up). And ding I had an idea. Later I stumbled upon some other rocking post with a link to beautiful cirlces! I had to use them. So here they are. I didn't want to cut one of the tablecloth's in half so I improvised with some ribbon I had laying around to make the middle section. I hope you enjoy my new curtains as much as me!

Thanks! It was kinda a fluke for the ribbon. I was searching through my ribbon stash and found those and was surprised that they were literally a perfect match!
