My mommy likes koi a LOT! I have recently gotten back into plastic canvas after a long time of not doing it. I had so much fun! I cut out the pieces individually and sewed them together when I was done. The eyes are sequins and I used 4 kinds of novelty yarn for this. It is about 18 inches from tip to tail.  Smiley
I didn't use a pattern, I just cut and sewed randomly.

Obligatory shot of the back

I think it took about 6 hours to make. What do you think?  Grin

Thank you so much! I also forgot to mention that it is a wall hanging. There is a little loop on the back of the tail to hang it up.

He is beautiful! You should make a whole family Smiley

I want to cover my whole wall in them now!  Cheesy

What a great koi!  My mom loves koi too, she used to have a whole tank full of em.

(And I suppose that IS your mother's plastic canvas... Smiley)

Actually it was for the moderator jmi. I said it was for my mom because I wanted to post it right away and see if she liked it as much as I thought she would.  Cheesy
