Crafty? Maybe. I guess I like to make my own stuff

So, I have juvenile diabetes (type I) and I find that I have no cute holder for any of my multiple necessities that need to go in a bag, purse, etc...basically whereever I go. Does anyone have this problem and if so, would anyone be up for a little swaparoo of a bag with places for diabetes stuff? Let me know. It may be far fetched...but I have yet to find anything that I actually LIKE! It could even for those who have health related problems and need something to hold all of their stuff.

that's a cool idea. if needed, you could maybe broaden the swap to an "essential kit container" swap, and get people to explain, when they sign up, what kind of little bag they need .

I don't know if I have anything that essentially needs a container, but I love coming up with cuter ways of keeping track of stuff.  It's fun having constraints when doing creative work, because it just forces even better ideas to surface.  Sounds like a really fun swap and I'll be trying to figure out my essentials so's I can play!

i'd play. I also think for a lot of people it could be something as simple as a way to keep pills and such neat, like maybe a way to keep your birth control pills and allergy meds all in the same place.

a cute bag for menstrual gear could count as essential, periodically.

It sounds like a really cool idea! The questionaire you have people fill out should probably have a place for measurements of the essentials that have to fit in it, and how much protection such items need. Like I assume you would need little syringe pockets like the pen pockets that are sometimes in the fronts of backpacks, and something to cushion your insulin vial(s) so they don't knock about? Others might need perfect little pockets for pill bottles or contact lens cases or pads. I'm so not an organized person, but Ii long to be, so the idea of perfect little compartments is appealing!
