Wow it's been a while since I posted!

This is a shirt I made for a friend who is in a Rockabilly band (Yellerbellies & The Shandaleers)  Who I have owed a shirt to for like 4 yrs. LOL!  Lets get to the pictures!
Sorry everything is sideways I couldn't fix it.  Wink

Here is the whole shirt,  I've never put this much detail on a shirt before.  Everything was stitched with one strand of floss and a small needle.

I found her on Deviant art and just fell in love with her! I think technically she was Bride of Frankenstein but either way she was hot!

Close up (little blurry)  I'm really happy with how her face turned out.

Close up of her legs.  I put fusible interfacing under the spiderweb stockings so that they would stand out a bit more.

Close up of the "Background"  This is artwork from the back of his CD that he wanted incorporated into the shirt somehow.  My favorite is the bat in the jar.  These were hard to stitch.  They are all only about 1/2 an inch to one inch in size.

There it is, he hasn't had a show lately in which to wear it but he will send me a picture when he does so I can have an action shot.  Grin

Hope you like it. Kiss

Absolutely stunning. I was all slack-jawed with amazement at the spiderweb stockings and then I saw that you also did the background pattern--!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my god, you are amazing.

Since I'm the type to look through pictures before reading someone's post, I saw your pics and thought "Cool Zombie stitching...where can I find just the shirt with the cool print"?   Cheesy

I think the images are really cool. I was about 15 when Nightmare Before Christmas came out so I have a soft spot for women who have been sewn back together. Lol

In all seriousness I think your work is stunning. I did truly think the background was part of the shirt and your zombie-babe is damn-awesome. Since I limit my work to 99.8% cross stitch (the other .2 is my back stitching) I am always impressed by good "fill in" work (satin stitch maybe?). The different shades of green really stand out. My wife is starting to get into blackwork and we are both digging the hell out of her stockings.

Thanks for sharing. It really is a cool piece of clothing/work and you may have even passed on a little inspiration for my wife's crafting! Thanks again!!!

Your work is always amazing to me, such smooth stitches and ultra-fine details.  Single strand insanity, I love it!

Wow.  Really cool!  Of course, once your friend wears it one stage, people are going to be like "hey man, where can I buy one of your band shirts?!?" and people are going to bombard you with sales requests and soon you'll be rich but cross-eyed from all that detailed stitching! ;-)

This definitely rocks!...figuratively and soon to be literally!

I could totally go for the rich thing  Wink

Thanks for all the awesome comments, I really enjoy doing these projects but I am always very hard on myself. ( I could point out so many flaws in this! LOL)  So when I get this kinda feedback it totally makes my day! Kiss
