so i've never made bread for real before.

Here is the evidence that i just did though  Grin

i used the King Arthur French Style Bread recipe, but i added a tablespoon of 'pizza seasoning' (oregano, basil, garlic, marjoram, red pepper, and thyme) and a teaspoon of minced garlic.

recipe:

i would like to thank madelaine for her post!  -------> http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=241312.0

i have the other 17 picures on my 365 craft blog.
i was certain you didn't want 18 pictures of me making bread on here.  it looks just like madelaine's Cheesy well, hers is prettier  Grin

YUM!  I've never made "real" loaves of bread before, either...at least not ones that tasted good and were actually eaten by humans (we made baguettes that later became duck food, hehe.)  Your post makes me want to try again!  Hooray for home baking!

i have decided bread is just another way for me to eat butter!  Cheesy
i really think adding the garlic and herbs made a huge difference.  Cheesy

i also don't think i will slice the tops again.  Sad
and i would like to tell you i will let the 'loaves' rise more next time, but my patience only goes so far!  Wink

bunsenhoneydew13 you can do it!  Grin Grin Grin
there, that was my attempt at motivational speaking.  Wink

That looks delicious!  I'm going to pass the recipe along to my bread-making-sister.  Sadly though, after seeing the movie About a Boy, homemade bread just isn't the same.  lol.  Cheesy
