Embroidered drawing by my 6 year old daughter on a piece of antique linen. It's an Italian princess. We collaborated on the colour choices and this is our final piece. It was harder than I thought it would be to keep it exactly like her drawing - had to simplify it here and there.

I love it when people embroider their kids work. Too bad I have no offspring.

This is really a nice piece. You both did a great job.

Maybe I could just ask random kids to draw for me. The simplicity makes great patterns.
I wish I would have thought to embroider my kids art when they were young.
