- Has posted at least 15 times
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps
- Does not have any negative feedback

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

DETAILS OF THE SWAP:

I got this idea from a weekend scavenger hunt I participated in and was organized by TAOJ - basically, I'm borrowing some of her ideas but making the craft time longer!

You will be crafting 3 small items (no purchased items allowed) for your partner.  Your partner will select a color, a shape (such as a square, rectangle, triangle, pentagon, circle, etc.) and a texture (such as hard, soft, squishy, smooth, etc) and you will be required to craft something to fit each 'category'

I've given 19 days to craft which should be plenty of time as these are only SMALL items.  SMALL means it takes less than 2 hours to complete and the cost is less than $5 - that means you should spend no more than $15 on the supplies and should have to spend no more than 6 hours total crafting time.

Put some thought into deciding what to make - read the questionnaire, stalk your partner or ask them questions - communication is very good!  Don't just throw something together and send it off as quick as possible - I'd rather see quality items sent closer to the deadline than junk going out the next day!

DC #'s will be required if you are sending within your own country and if you send outside your country, please keep the receipt and be prepared to send me a scan or picture if your package goes missing.

If you want to participate, please PM me the filled out questionnaire and then post a little note on this thread - something as simple as 'I'm in' and then bookmark it so you can follow along and won't miss any messages I may post on here.

QUESTIONNAIRE TO ANSWER:

Name of swap - Shape, Color and Texture Swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address including the country
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
Confirm that are at least 13 years old (yes/no)

Your color:
Your shape:
Your texture:

What crafts do you do?
What types of crafts would you like to receive? (remember to keep them in the small category and these are only suggestions)
Any patterns or designs that you like? any you don't like?
Anything you would not like to receive?
Do you have any allergies? any in your home?
Tell your partner about yourself:

I wasn't going to do anymore swaps, but I have to consider this one.

I guess I'm not quite clear on what is meant by shape.   Is it like an animal, or a square, or what?

As soon as I get some feedback (and hopefully this won't be full), I'm totally signing up!

I had in mind that a shape would be like a triangle, square, circle, rectangle, star, oval, pentagon, octagon or any other shape similar to this.

So there would be a color (like red), and a shape (like oval), and a feeling (like fabric)?  I don't mean to be so dense, but this is kind of new to me.

Almost!  There would be a color (like red) and a shape (like oval) and a feeling (like soft, hard, fuzzy, smooth)

I think your question has led me to a decision - I'm going to change this to Shape, Color and Texture Swap because that's what I really mean, rather than feeling.  I want your partner to be able to craft something with a certain texture and I was calling it feeling.

I don't mind the questions - I'd rather have everyone understand than not!

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein.
