Think I found the instructions for these tissue cozies somewhere on this site and dang it all, it became an obsession.


The serged edges look nice but don't provide the crispest corners.  This one shown before turned right side out.

Cute tissue holders.

The serged edges look nice but don't provide the crispest corners. 

To get crisper corners with the serger simply fold the serged edge toward the body of the piece before sewing across it. Fold just the seam allowance, where the serger threads are, don't fold any extra fabric or you will end up with puckers/pleats. You should press them before sewing but be careful and press from the fabric side not the seam side - serger thread often melts.

I made my Mom "walker purses" with tissue cozies to match for Mother's Day.  They were a real hit with the assisted living crowd  Smiley
