Trying to figure out the coffee mug.  It only lists seven rounds in my book.  That's too small isn't it?  I would think it should be around 12-15?

Yep! Do 28 sc for rounds 7-15.

Here's an email I got from the author:

I've been making all the toys again following the book (to make sure everything's fine), and there's a typo in page 66 Sad
For the cafe con leche cup, in R7 it should read "R7-15: Sc 28" instead of just R7... I'm really sorry. Everything else seems perfect!

She's so nice.  Cheesy

Cute owl, btw!

Now I made a turtle for a friend. It was fun. Except for the tiny legs. Those drove me nuts.

Hi, all!

I need some help with the Mommy Penguin.

The instructions for the body make a long, weird body with a 24-sc hole (doesn't match up with the 12-sc hole of the head). Does anyone know about corrected instructions to make a nice, round body like in the book?

Thanks!  Smiley

I hope to get this book this weekend and join in the fun.  I am new to amigurumi/crochet, but have always wanted to learn.  It is sooo fun!  Now I have got to get posting and active on Craftster so I can post pics. LOL

Thank you!  Unfortunately, my cat decided to take over "ownership" of my owl, so I'll be making a new one soon. Grin

And that's really cool that she actually emailed you back about that.  I thought I was missing something when my coffee mug was so tiny!  Shocked

Wow, so many cute things! They have this book at my library, and I've been meaning to go check it out and try out a few things. I'll definitely have to now. Cheesy
