or maybe not lol i tryed this and messed up but i did use the tulip idea for a different blanket which i ended cause it was very small lol i may join in a later date

heres what my experiment came out

i'm planning to do a border of granny squares around it

thanks it's going to be be variegated, pink, variegated, yellow, variegated, blue, variegated, orange, repeat these are the colors in the variegated along with the dark blue and dark purple. i just dont know what i am going to do for a border yet.

Very cute pattern. I like it with soft colors... or maybe Victorian colors. I have a ton of afghans to make, but this will go on my list of new patterns to use!  Cheesy
