I vote for a tutorial, too! I'm looking for inspiration to make a new bag for my trip to Vegas (to get married!) next month.  I've got fab fabric, I just dunno what shape to go for -- this is awesome!

beautiful work Smiley

I like the blue one.  It reminds me of a modified version of this one;

Twit Twoo?  Mr. Dressup ROCKS!  (and if you did not intend to reference the magnificent owl from Mr. Dressup...this comment will likely confuse you).

LOVE the material!  Where is the owl one from?

I had a look at the tute and it's made pretty much like that one too except i have four pieces of the top band to give more shape and I do the top all at the same time (I suppose that bit would depend on your machine). I thought I was being a bit slap dash by just tracing the lining out around the bag, nice to know others do that too Smiley

Oh and I got the owl material from ebay.co.uk, wishing I got more now. I wasn't so sure about it on the screen but I've fallen in love with it now. From a seller called fabric addiction (it's american).

I'm putting together a tute the next time I make one which should be this weekend Smiley
