One would never know that a humble tomato paste can lurks under that cute cuff!  So... I don't cook, so want to ask if tomato paste usually comes in the smaller sized cans?

Yes it does come in small cans. They cost just a few cents. I think mine were 6 eurocent a piece.

I saw your bracelet and though "I really like that". So clicked on the photo and thought yippee she's so great she's done a tutorial, but when I clicked on the link I jst got a white page saying "Welcome to wmembp01.live.webc.lyceu.net". Am I doing something wrong?

It is really lovely and as my recycling has been collected yet, I have plenty of cans so really want to make it.
Thanks

What a great idea! Thanks for posting this... I've been hunting around for cheap bangles to cover over with knitted designs... but this is even better, and free to boot! I eat a lot of soup and canned vegetables, but never thought of re-using them like this!

This rocks, for sure Smiley

Ooh, I like it! :] We have a ton of steel cans waiting to go to the recycling center-but maybe I can give it a try. How did you do it?

I never would have thought to make a bracelet from a steel can. That seriously rules.  Wink

oh, you brilliant girl. these are perfect for all my girly friends. i'm actually in the process of making some right now but because i'm one of those "immediate satisfaction" kind of people, i'm using hotglue instead of stitching. which is probably why mine look sloppy hahaha. anyway, i was wondering what you meant by "a piece of felt with tape on one side". like double-sided sticky tape? or am i showing off my rookie status by missing some huge sewing concept?
