Those two pieces look so good. Especially the swimsuit. The full body photo in the swimsuit is absolutely adorable!!

I love the pattern for the tank top!  I the bathing suit is cute as a one piece with shorts.  I used to have a suit like that and it reminded me of victorian style bathing suits  Smiley

I love them both!! What a great idea on the swimsuit. Was is hard to alter the pattern?

I really need to get over my fear of changing patterns because my body is about four different sizes, depending on where you look. Cheesy I need a good swimsuit pattern and I really like how you changed yours. Awesome!

i love the fabric you chose for the top one...
and i wish i knew how to make a swimsuit with boy-shorts... or i wish they made them that way...  i hate the wedgie-type swimsuits (ie: practically all the ones they sell)

Your post came at just the right time.  You've inspired me.  Please post some other things you've made.  Think I'll see about making a top like that.  I want it to look like your's.  And, you have a beautiful smile!

ROFL... I was wondering what to call them.

Woman...you have some mad talent.  That swimsuit is really cute, and the top you made, wow, I love the fabric AND the fit.  And you're soooo pretty.  Go into modeling!

You did a great job!  Love the shirt pattern.  I wouldn't have the guts to make a swimsuit.  And yes, you're really cute!

You look FABOULOUS!

I make my own swimsuits, too. I bought a swim bra from Junonia www.junonia.com
and then made tops and pants to go over. Very very easy!

I second the comment about your hair - love it! Smiley

these are the patterns that I used and for the swimsuit and combined the shorts and tank top together and for the shirt i made it the same way it wasnt had to sew even though im not a beginner even if you dont want the seam down the front or back you can cut it on a fold and its so easy!!!

Did you use a serger?
