This was an experiment on a tshirt, but the results were great.
The lighter color was achieved with a bleach pen, the darker coloration was done with dark blue and black sharpies.
This shirt was made for my uncle, who is being treated for cancer right now and needs an angel on his shoulder. The design is meant to look like the wing wraps around his shoulder, like she is holding on to him protectively.
The artwork was done by my sister, who also did the mermaid jeans in another post.

WOW! The jeans are amazing too, but WOW!

How does she do that with bleach?

Can you wash the clothes without the stuff fading?

I'm just in awe!

That is soooo beautiful - both visually and of the heart! Do the wing tips wrap around and show on the back of the shoulders? Please show us the back if you're able.  Your sis is awfully talented and generous to share it!

I'm sure your uncle will love it.  If he's undergoing cancer treatment, I know he needs all the support available. Please let him know he's in our thoughts.

Just a side note:  My mom went though radiation and chemo in 2005 for lung cancer.  That was the most difficult time in my entire life. If you - or anybody in your family - need a shoulder or just a neutral 3rd party, please know you can always PM me. **hugs**
