In my philosophy of art and ideas class we've been reading about Andy Warhol and some quotes by him as well.  i saw a quote that i really liked, so i decided to make a shirt out of it.   Smiley

the front:

a close-up of the transfer:

(there isn't really that much of a yellowy color to it in real life.  i think the light was hitting it weird).  i know it should have been silk screened, since that's what Andy used for a lot of his art, but i don't know how to silk screen (yet.  i really want to learn!).

the back:

this is the quote i really liked.  i'm a lil worried that the purple i used is too light.  i'm not sure if i want to try to make it darker or not.  i used these foam stamp things i got from Michael's for the letters.  originally i was going to make a stencil, but i ended up not having time.

action shot:

i tried to strike a bit of a Warhol pose (that's why i'm wearing sunglasses...it's not that bright in my house  Cheesy).

thanks for looking!
