I found this really great pattern for knitted mushrooms (sorry, but I don't have the link on my right now...)  While flying from the East Coast to California, I knocked out about half a dozen of these babies!  I ended up changing the pattern A LOT- I didn't connect any of the caps to the stems since they kind of looked waay too phallic   Roll Eyes  Plus I didn't felt them at all since I knitted them in garter stitch rather than stockinette, and I like the bumpy texture.  I feel like they look more like spores this way rather than mushrooms.

All the spores are connected by a stitch of yarn to hold them together into this little unit.  I'd like to put it somewhere sweet in the city (see the posts on 'knit graffiti') but for now they have found their home on my kitchen table.

What do you think?  Should I keep them like this or make them into mushrooms?
