I planned on using an ovaltine container. it's about the size of a mason jar? but plastic so it's light.

thats a really good idea! i was looking through the pantry the other night and thinking that "wow this is going to be pretty heavy" so plastic would be a good alternative.

and plastic is completely acceptable of course! Glass does get heavy. But as i am going to continue harping on, make sure what you send is the same size as your partner Smiley

P.S. 6 oz is about 3/4 of a US 1 cup measuring cup, not sure if that helps at all....

If it is any easy  1 cup is 8 oz.  You can use any kind of container. I just finished a fill a jar swap. This was a question in the questionaire.

I found the perfect jar at home I want to use, it is an 8oz old grey poupon jar because I am FANCY.  Anyway- if my partner still just wants to do 6 ounces couldn't I just put cotton or something for the top two ounces?  Hopefully they would be willing to do eight ounces, and if not, I could always get another jar I suppose.  :3

Hrm, I used to do lots of jewelry so I have a ton of mixed beads that I rarely use anymore.

I mainly spin now, but I do sometimes do beaded yarns.  But mostly I like interesting/funky beads/buttons that I can add in to make fun yarns.

I'm trying to figure out if I would be a good fit for this one or if I'd just end up stressing my partner out!
