soda can backsplash

Ok so someone posted a mirror frame just a couple of days ago, which was made from all kinds of soda cans (or pop cans depending on where you come from) which was so cool.  Now I can't find it because the search function is down, but anyway I was very excited to see it because this winter we did something similar in our kitchen. 

So...what other kind of backsplash can you have when your fridge and your hoosier look like this? 


and you drink Knudsen spritzers like there's no tomorrow and they are so pretty and the colors just happen to match nicely with your overall decorating scheme...


Why you glue them to the wall of course.  And then for good measure we added this copper tape that we have which is for doing stained glass.


And it matches pretty nicely with the rest of the wacky room and makes me happy..... 

What else can we do with cans???

Very, very cool!  I wish I had the guts to do the same .... hmmm diet pepsi cans match the shelves in my kitchen... maybe I'll give it a try
