I have always wanted to make corset, so i started looking around and found this awesome tute http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=122286.0 she made it look so easy and it is!!!

I got some scrap material i had around and made it Grin Everything was good until i finish and saw out that it didn't fit!!! I am terrible at math and took double what i was supposed to and it came out tinny. Also i couldn't find any plastic so it doesn't have boning but Oh well, I'm making another for my self this one I'm giving to a friend.

this is how it looks like

This how it looks like on my awesome friend (front)

All us corset makers started some were. Yours is a lot better than a lot of first attempts I have seen in class.

Did you add 1.5 to each seam. I have forgotten to do that in the past and added 1.5 to a pattern I had cute and made a huge one.

You can buy plastic boning from most sewing shops, which might be easier when your learning as you can sew through it.

keep going.
