Hi!  I recently made a tank top out of granny squares (no pattern was used):


It looks kind of boxy when laid out flat, but actually fits nicely:


Close-up (ignore the color change- it's just different lighting.):


Annnd then earlier today I was doing some organizing in my bedroom and felt that I needed a better way to store some of my favorite necklaces and pins... so I quickly made this up:

I remember making these with just one big granny square for the front and back ... back in the mid 70s, someone kill me I'm SO OLD!

You can't be that old.  I will 43 in June and I remember those.  Love the tank and the necklace holder.  Hmmm I could one of those to hold my necklaces as I don't wear alot of jewelry so I have very few pieces.

haha!  this is a pretty 70s-inspired design.  i sometimes wear shirts and dresses that my grandmother crocheted for my mom back in the 70s... now i'm crocheting my own clothes.  it's genetic, i guess!
