Macro challenge: Xalamar the Third and Mighty!

What do you know, this is my first post! I just got done taking and editing some macro photos of my stick insect, Xalamar the Third and Mighty, and right after, I came on here and saw this challenge. Worryingly, I couldn't find any rules here, though I'm sure there must be some, so I'm sorry if my entering a challenge this early on breaks some sort of restrictions. Anyway, here's my entry (linked offsite, since I think I can't post images unless I have more than a certain number of posts or something?)

It was taken with my digital camera, not an SLR, so I don't have any fancy macro lenses or anything... still, I think my trusty camera got in pretty close! I turned up the saturation and contrast a little on Paint Shop Pro

Yes, you have to have a certain number of posts.  It's an attempt for us to stop dirty spam images from being posted...
