I made these for my friend's birthday. I am planning a nice bag for her, but didn't have time to get it done before her birthday, so I made the zippered pouch out of the fabrics the bag will be made of. The idea is that the zippered pouch can go in the bag and hold a lightweight bag so she always has it with her, since she tries to avoid using plastic bags but tends to forget to take an extra bag out with her.

The transfer paper I used for the picture on the side of the bag turned out pretty badly, and it's already started to peel a bit. Any suggestions for avoiding that in future?

What a nice gift, I hope your friend likes it!

To not have the transfer peel up, can you maybe sew/embroider around the edges?  Or maybe use fabric glue?
