- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES

Details of swap:

In this swap, the object is to craft items based on pairings of two different things - these can be ideas, concepts, themes, etc. Each swapper will submit a list of four different themes and will get to choose which pairings of themes to craft for their partner.

So if your partner lists
'waffles','ravens','circuitboards', and 'neoconservatism'

you could make one item pairing
'waffles' and 'circuitboards'

and a second item pairing
'ravens' and 'neoconservatism'

or a second item pairing
'ravens' and 'circuitboards'

but if you had a ton of ideas for 'waffles' and 'circuitboards', you could make several items for that pairing instead.

The idea here is to come up with an integrated craft item that embraces both themes, and not just to slap images of the two themes juxtaposed together on a tote bag.  This swap is about creativity, challenge, and innovation - so there will be a long crafting time.  You may wish to list your themes in the thread so others can get a head start in thinking about them.  Please carefully choose your themes and consider how likely it is that your partner will be familiar with them, especially with themes for specific tv shows, music, really obscure subjects, etc.

You will craft items totalling 4 points (or more if you arrange with your partner). In this point system,
1 Small = 1 point
1 Medium = 2 points
1 Large = 3 points
So you could craft 2M or 1L 1S  to reach 4 points (other combinations possible with multiple smalls).

The organizer reserves the right to decline swappers due to past occurences of late sending. All swappers must send with Delivery Confirmation or tracking if shipping within the US, or save receipt copies if shipping outside the US. There will be two mandatory checkins, one at the beginning of the swap, and one about a week prior to the sendout date. If you fail to check in at either checkin, you will receive a notation of poor communication in your feedback; if you fail to check in at the second checkin, your partner will be asked to hold your swap package until you are once again in communication.

If you want to participate, information to send to organizer:

Name of swap
Craftster username
Email address
Your real name
Mailing address including the country
Would you be willing to ship to an address outside your own country?
Confirm that are at least 13 years old (yes/no)
Please list your four themes:
What kind of crafts would you like to do?
What kind of crafts would you like to receive?
Do you have any pets?
Do you smoke?
Do you have any allergies?
Are there any materials or crafts that you do not want to receive?
Do you have a wists, blog, or website to share with your partner?
Are there any themes that you really do not want to craft for?
Do you want to craft for more than 4 points of items?
Do you like to 'spoil' your partner, or prefer to send exactly the swap requirements?
Anything else we should know?

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

Okay, I figured I was going to break down and join this eventually, so I'm sending in my info now. My four themes are:

1. Diners
2. Jell-o molds
3. Birds
4. Strawberries

I tried to keep the themes broad enough as to leave them open to interpretation, and closely enough related so that my partner doesn't go bonky. Plus, these are four of my favorite things.  Cheesy

Oh, fun! Now I can't stop thinking of cool combos!  There's no way I'm going to be able to resist this one!  I doubt I make it thru the whole week without signing up!

I'm not sure yet what I am going to choose for themes. I may keep the "ravens" and "circuitboards" from the examples, but I'd like also some kind of abstract theme.

Also, I should note that I am pretty busy this month, so I may be slow to update the swap in your profile and the signup list.  I'll try and update things once a day, probably during lunch. If it has been more than two days after you sent your signup and your profile hasn't been updated, please pm me.
