I have been way behind in posting things lately, so I am going to show off my crocheting now.  The projects get better as I go along, so bare with me.

First, I have a bag I made from the Happy Hooker book.  It is supposed to be an orange on a yellow bag, but I didn't' follow the gauge and ran out of yarn and it came out big and ugly.  When I finished it my dad asked why I had a crooked pumpkin on a bag.  Smiley  It was a good project to teach me to follow directions, and I still might frog and remake it.

This next one I made out of necessity.  I was living in Mexico for the months of February and March this year, which was fun.  My problem was that the sun would come in through my window in my host families house about 30 minutes before my alarm went off and wake me up.  I only brought a little yarn and a hook, so I decided to crochet an eye mask for myself.  I made it up as I worked and just tried to make it as tight as possible so sun wouldn't go through. It worked pretty well, but it somehow go lost on the way home Embarrassed So this is in memory of my first crocheting project that I made up and completed all by my self.

The last one is from the Star Baby Blanket Along.  I made it about a month ago but it seemed too small for anyone but a baby so I put it away.  When I pulled it out for pictures though it seemed really large. So maybe I'll keep it for me or a smaller toddler instead of a baby.  I made it out of a huge skein of yarn that I've had forever and some black Super Saver my grandmother gave me.

Now I am working on a blanket for my mom's birthday and a (hopefully) cool fanny pack type bag.
Thanks for looking. Comments and criticism welcome.

I'm not good at following directions either.  Also, I love the star blanket.
